We give thanks to God for His faithfulness, we praise His name and give glory to Him.
Tonight was another blessed night, we prayed the night in and gave thanks to Him and prayed for all that was going to happen. We also prayed for our brothers and sisters who were coming for food and fellowship.
We had one of our team deliver the message tonight, our beloved brothers and sisters listened with interest, it was very quiet and you could almost hear a pin drop. And there was questions and fellowship afterwards, we now have Teen Challenge working with us which is a real blessing (praise God for that ministry and the lives that have been changed).
As the evening went on we had 80 people in total… Thats 80 of our brothers and sisters who were shown love, respect, support and were in the house of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We also gave out 120 items of clothing, we thank you all for your donations and support. We are being blessed with what we have and we thanks you all for your prayers, support and donations. Sleeping bags are an issue for our brothers and sisters who sleep on the streets but God provides and your donations are really appreciated by us all.
We had Horton Housing with us again who helped those sleeping rough, we have something called “cold weather provision” which basically means that when the temperature is below 0 there are extra resources to help those in need of accommodation.
After the night had finished we went out onto the streets. We took hot beverages and disposable cups with us for our beloved sisters on the street. we had some good conversations and prayed with them. We also continued to pray that Jesus would make His presence known to the streets in a powerful and awesome way. All the Glory goes to Him, not us but Him. He is the one that changes lives, keep praying for this work folks, lives are being changed and are continuing to be changed. Pray for our sisters who have access to support, that they engage in it. Pray that they attend a church service and get alongside fellow Christians, and please pray that THEY pray… That they say to our Lord “I can’t do this any more, I need you.. I need to change but I can’t do this on my own”.
We prayed the night out and went home.
So please continue to pray and support us, and more importantly show love to those in need, love those in pain, pray for those living in sin. For scripture says… “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
God bless you all.
