Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Romans 12:15-16.
If you have a choice of walking with the broken or sitting with the great… Always walk with the broken. It give you a chance to change someones day (maybe even their life) it builds character (both theirs and yours) and it also shows the kind of life that Jesus lead. For He came to heal the sick, not the healthy (Mark 2:17).
We were again blessed tonight to have Bevan Healthcare team with us along with someone from a housing team to help people with accommodation issues. It is always a pleasure to bring people from all over Bradford to help those who come to us, they come for a meal but leave with clothing, medical support, housing support and real hope that God can restore heal them from life controlling situations.
Due to Bruce coming back to lead the team he spoke this week and shared how Jesus is working through him. He shared and they interacted with him as he spoke, when God gives us a new life we should share it with others.
A testimony is not only the things that we say. The way we live our life is a testimony to unbelievers as well.
We had a peaceful and blessed night that night. We had someone upstairs praying for us and for our beloved friends throughout the time we were open and we had some great conversations with those who came.
Our Friday mornings are doing as well as ever, we have a solid 2 hours to chat and have breakfast with our beloved friends before wishing them a great and safe weekend. We keep them in our prayers and ask that you keep them in prayer as well. Prayer changes lives and we believe that God can change the hearts and minds of those who come to Him.
So we thank you for your continued interest and support in our ministry. Please pray for us tonight as we open the doors again to the broken and the needy and please continue to keep us and our beloved friends in your prayers.
And show love to those who you see who are struggling and hurting, one positive word and emotion can have great outcomes.
God Bless you all.
The Real Hope team.
