Psalm 150:6 (NKJV)
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!
Greetings to you all from us at Real Hope.
This Friday morning was cold outside, we dressed up warm but it wasn’t long before we met a sister that wasn’t. She told us she had been out all night, she looked cold and didn’t want to stay around for a chat. Please pray for her, she is well known to us and is in real need of the comfort that only Jesus can provide.
We walked and prayed FOR the streets, ON the streets. We Prayed that Jesus would make himself known there, that lives would continue to be changed, and then gave thanks and Glory to Him. We came back to the church and got ready to go about our day. On our way out we saw 2 sisters, again they looked cold and lost so we stayed and chatted to them. They were unsure at first but then started telling us about their lives, it was upsetting for them to say and upsetting to hear. Our brothers and sisters live in desperate circumstances and don’t have our Lord as the focus of their lives, but Jesus said “but first seek his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matt 6:33, NIV). When people come to know Christ through their addictions they no longer worry about where their next “fix” is coming from because Jesus does the “fixing” He heals the broken ( Read 2 Peter 1:3-4)
Please continue to pray for our beloved brothers and sisters, for the work God is doing in this world and in our work at Real Hope. Pray for each other too and show love to all.
(John 13:35) “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
God bless you all and thank you for your continued support and prayers.
