Hello folks and Happy New Year to you all.
We are always wondering what God is going to do next for our ministry and within the transformation of peoples lives as they come to know Him as the Lord and Saviour of their lives. The people who we see, talk to, pray with and pray for are His children. We may supply the needs but He supplies much more than we ever can.
Jesus asks that we invite them in, we feed the hungry, quench their thirst, clothes them and look after the sick. (Matt25:31-41)
We are getting ready for another year of fellowship with our brothers and sisters, if it is by:
- Sitting and eating with them,
- Supplying clothes,
- Finding accommodation for them,
- Speaking to them on the street,
- Advice and support.
Throughout this year we are wanting to grow as a ministry and we patiently wait to see what the Lord has in store for us, we have 2 people who have found Christ and are now looking forward to their baptisms.
We also ask that you keep a member of our team in prayer as she has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, she has support from our church and is keeping God close to her heart, despite having this illness it hasn’t affected her praise to God.
In Exodus when Moses lead Gods people away from slavery they started to quarrel because they had no water (See Exodus 17:1-7). There are times when it is easy to think that the Lord is not with us when we are suffering, but look what happened.. As they were quarreling with Moses and putting the Lord to the test, He performed a miracle. Whenever we struggle and take our eyes of the Lord we fail to see what he is doing. Which is why we need to keep our eyes fixed on Him (Hebrews 12.2).
Also if any of you feel burdened by our Lord to help out in any way then please feel free to contact us, you can help out by becoming prayer partners, donations of food or clothing and you are also welcome to volunteer with us.
We are always grateful for your continued support.
So please continue to pray for us as we start this new year and pray for those we meet and are still suffering, pray for breakthroughs, strength for us and for them and pray too for the ones you meet who are suffering with homelessness, addiction, poverty, diseases, illnesses or any kind of suffering. Smile and talk to them you have no idea how God can use you to change the lives of those around you.
God bless you all and praise to the king of kings.
