She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). Matt 1:21-23

Real Hope Wednesday Evening 05/10/2016
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come 2 Corinthians 5:17
Real Hope Wednesday Evening 14/09/16 and Friday Morning 16/09/16
John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
It’s easy to read such a commandment from Jesus but do we live up to the commandment? Jesus forgives the sinner (Luke 7:48), came to serve us (Matt 20:28), Jesus showed compassion for all and helped them: the poor, the despised, the outcasts, and wants us to do the same (Matt. 4:24-25 and Matt. 9:9-13).
As Christians we have an obligation to love the unloved, feed the hungry, help those in need. At Real Hope we do that as best we can because we care for those who come to us for food but leave with so much more.
On Wednesday evening we had 51 people who came and heard the testimony from Wayne who Adam (our new leader) knew from his time in Teen Challenge. Adam worked with Wayne and saw him grow in Christ and how Jesus helped him through his addictions, Wayne completed the Teen Challenge Rehab and now lives a better life. Praise God for changed lives, lives free from the prison of addiction. Wayne had the opportunity to talk to those who were touched by his testimony, please keep these people in your prayers, these lost ones are the ones Jesus came for.
On Friday morning we were blessed to get alongside our beloved friends, Friday mornings give us a great opportunity to sit along side them and to do more socialising than we do on a Wednesday evening. Last week we got a stick of rock each from one person who went to Blackpool, it is heart warming to know that this person was on holiday and was thinking of us, this is what this work is all about. We are honoured that even though we are not in the presence of our beloved friends we are still close to them.
This week at our church we had a team of Christians from South Korea visiting us and they helped out at Real Hope on Friday morning. It is a blessing that we are able to work with other churches to share Gods love with others.
We are also thankful to you all for taking the time to read this blog and for the prayer support we receive from you all. Those prayers are being heard and God is faithful, he is answering those prayers and we re blessed to see them answered in extraordinary ways.
Please continue to pray for the ministry and for changed lives, pray for people to seek God, for more people to come to church on our Sunday services.
May God Bless you all this week.
The Real Hope team.
A new season of Real Hope.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19
Real Hope Wednesday Evening 18/05/16 and Friday Morning updates
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Romans 12:15-16.

So we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well. Surely you remember, brothers and sisters, our toil and hardship; we worked night and day in order not to be a burden to anyone while we preached the gospel of God to you. 1 Thessalonians 2:8-9. Real Hope Wednesday Evenings 20th and 27th April
You have been a refuge for the poor,
a refuge for the needy in their distress,
a shelter from the storm
and a shade from the heat.
For the breath of the ruthless
is like a storm driving against a wall.
Real Hope Update. 17/04/2016
Greetings to you all from us at Real Hope in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Before we talk about how things have been this past month let us focus on this part of the Bible.
Real Hope update.
Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
First month of Real Hope 2016 .
Greetings to you all from us at Real hope in the name of the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
So our first month of Real Hope is complete but the work that God is doing through us is still as ongoing and as strong as ever. As the song (God in the city) goes:
“Greater things are yet to come, and greater things are still to be done in this city”.
